PHCC and Mall of Qatar staff during the breast cancer awareness drive.
Doha: In collaboration with the Primary Health Care Corporation, Mall of Qatar offered screening for ladies aged between 45 and 69, who have a valid QID and have not done their mammogram for the past three years.
Speaking about the campaign at Mall of Qatar, Sam Hosn, CEO, said: “At Mall of Qatar, we are inspired by the tremendous effort that has gone into fighting Breast Cancer, and we are committed to spread awareness while ensuring strong collaborations with the several organisations and health authorities.”
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Qatar, accounting for 31% of cancer cases in women. Both women and men can , however, be affected by breast cancer. It is important to note that many breast cancers are treatable, and patients can survive if it’s diagnosed and treated early.
