Ministry closes restaurant for violating Covid-19 guidelines

Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) closed a restaurant for a period of 15 days due to a violation of the precautionary measure guidelines issued by the Ministry to counter the outbreak of the Coronavirus. 

The Ministry said in a statement published on Twitter that the action was taken against Lamzani Restaurant located at the Birkat Al Awamer area as they violated precautionary measures issued by the ministry earlier to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The restaurant mentioned will be closed for 15 days. 

The Ministry stated that citizens and residents wanting to communicate issues related to the trade affairs sector can call the hotline 16001.
