DOHA: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 133.20 points, or 1.12 percent, when it closed trading at 12,031.15 points Sunday compared to 11,897.95 points Thursday.
The market capitalization increased to QR638.35bn, up by QR4.23bn compared to QR634.12 bn registered on Thursday.
The traded valued declined to QR198.36m with a volume of 6,630,655 shares from 2,925 transactions compared with QR229.4m with a volume of 4,898,458 shares from 2,609 transactions Thursday.
Barring consumer goods and services index, which declined 0.55 percent to 7,352.47 points, indices of all sectors gained today. Real estate index gained the most today, up 3.84 percent (2,792.14 points), reprots QNA.
QSE Total Return Index gained 1.12 percent (18,697.03 points), QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained 1.14 percent (4,676.71 points), QSE All Share Index gained 0.88 percent (3,215.29 points)
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 37 saw trading today. From these 25 advanced, ten declined and two remained unchanged.
