Moscow: Qatar participated in the 13th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, held under the theme “Law: Lessons of the Past for the World of the Future.”
The Qatari delegation at the fourm was headed by Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi.
Al Mohannadi also met Minister of Justice of the Republic of Turkiye H E Yilmaz Tunç, on the sidelines of forum. During the meeting, they discussed legal and judicial cooperation between Qatar and Turkiye, and ways to enhance and develop them. The St. Petersburg International Legal Forum is taking place from May 19 to 21 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg.
The forum explored ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between ministries of justice, discussed the signing of agreements for exchanging expertise, and discussed key achievements and advanced legal practices in the participating countries.
The forum also features specialised exhibitions, panel discussions, roundtables, lectures, introductory presentations, and interactive meetings, during which participants discuss the latest legal developments and best practices in leveraging modern technologies in the legal field.
The forum’s agenda includes an open meeting for the ministers of justice from participating countries.
