Occupied Jerusalem: Advisor to President Mahmoud Abbas on the Jerusalem Affairs Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi warned that the meeting held by the Israeli government inside Al-Buraq Wall Tunnels would enhance the settlement schemes and eviction of Palestinians.
"The Israeli occupation government is seeking to reinforce its sovereignty in East Jerusalem, and to present a false narrative at the expense of the historical reality of the region, whose roots are Islamic, Christian, Palestinian and Arab" Al-Ruwaidi told Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA).
He added that the meeting promotes projects aimed at the forcible displacement of the indigenous Palestinian population in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan.
