DOHA: Ooredoo yesterday said its Mozaic TV’s Video On Demand (VOD) entertainment service, which allows customers to rent movies from the comfort of their homes, has seen a sharp rise in usage this year, as more customers look for a smart viewing experience.
The service fast becoming Qatar’s most popular VOD facility, experiences close to 50, 000 views every month, with customers able to choose from a large library of thousand of titles from Hollywood, Bollywood and Arabic cinema with just the touch of a button.
VOD also offers the freshest content for the whole family, with many titles available just after the cinematic release.
Ooredoo has ensured the box-office smash The SpongeBob Movie; Sponge Out Of Water starring Antonio Banderas and Tom Kerry available 24/7 on the service.
Once rented, movies are available for 48 hours and customers can rent more than one at a time.
Additional benefits of renting via Mozaic TV include the freedom to play, pause, fast forward and rewind.
Mozaic TV is committed to providing unlimited, all-you-can-watch on demand access to movie fans for all genres and languages.
The VOD service refreshes its movies list every week to include a mix of latest releases, classics and a range of titles in HD.
With demand for entertainment services rising in Qatar, Ooredoo aims to develop VOD service to allow users to purchase content to view on any of their devices using Mozaic TV’s catch-up application Mozaic GO.
All VOD content is charged directly to the customer’s monthly Ooredoo bill.
Mozaic TV users can access the service by clicking the “VOD” button on their remote handsets.
