Doha: International Labour Organisation (ILO) warned its followers of fraudulent schemes related to employment opportunities at its office in Qatar.

The organisation clarified that it currently has no job openings and does not solicit applications through WhatsApp.

It also added that electronic communications should be disregarded if they do not originate from ILO e-mail account @ilo.org or website ilo.org.

ILO also informed the public that it does not levy fees at any stage of recruitment process whether at the application, interview, processing or training stage, and such requests should be rejected.

The organisation also requested general public to report if they receive such suspicious communications related to ILO-Qatar to [email protected] and to the local law enforcement authorities for appropriate action.
