Doha: The Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari met here with the Japanese calligraphy artist Junichi Yoshikawa.
They exchanged opinions on the role of arts in bridging gaps between different cultures in addition to organising joint visual arts exhibition of Qatari and Japanese artists. The Japanese artist also reviewedsome of the ideas on using modern Arabic and Japanese calligraphy to create artistic aesthetics on one painting to express the Alliance of Civilizations.QNA
