Doha: The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani today participated in ‘Qatar Beautification and Our Kids Planting trees’ campaign at the 5/6 Park. The campaign aims to plant a million trees and is organized by the Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
The Prime Minister joined Qatar kids in planting trees and also inspected artworks by a group of artists in Qatar.
The visit was attended by H E Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, Minister of Municipality and Environment (MME), Dr Eng. Saad bin Ahmad Al Muhannadi, President of the Public Works Authority; Eng Mohammad Arqoub Al-Khaldi, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar; Ahmed Al-Namlah, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Museums; Jamal Al Naeimi, Director of Doha Municipality; Mohammed Al Khouri, Director of Public Parks Department at the MME; and Ali Al Shahwani, Member of the Central Municipal Council (Consistency 2).
