Doha: On International Children's Day, Al Thuraya Planetarium will be screening Arabic and English shows starting today, November 20.
‘Dawn of the Space Age’ in English will be screened at 5pm today which will be followed by ‘Perfect Little Planet’ in Arabic at 6pm and in English at 7pm.
On November 21, Thursday, The Zula Patrol Show will be screened in English at 5pm and 7pm and in Arabic at 6pm.
Perfect Little Planet will be again screened on Friday, November 22 in English at 5pm and 7pm and in Arabic at 6pm.
Open to all ages, the show requires registration at the entrance for which visitors have to arrive 30 minutes prior to the show.
Katara adds that seats are limited and so will be allotted in the order of arrival.
Meanwhile, Katara is also holding a list of other interesting events for Children’s Day. There are workshops, Al Dhad games, Arabic calligraphy, children's murals, little engineer and other events that will take place in the courtyard opposite to the Amphitheater from 4pm to 8pm from November 20-22.
Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra also will have an Animated Concert Part 1.5 on November 26 from 3pm to 7pm which will be held at the Opera House. Tickets for the same can be bought on the QPO website.
