The death toll from the Israeli air raid in southern Gaza has risen from 14 to 21, while the number of injuries rose to 79, according to the latest tally.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa said that many of the casualties from the strike in the city of Khan Younis were women and children.

Eight members of one family were reportedly among those killed.

Air raids were also reported in northern Gaza City’s al-Zaytoun and al-Shujaiya neighbourhoods, resulting in the collapse of several homes.
