Uruguay President, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs discuss cooperation

Montevideo: President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay H E Luis Lacalle Pou met with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs H E Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.

During the meeting, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and HH’s wishes of best of health and happiness to him and further progress and prosperity to the government and people of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.

For his part, the President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay entrusted the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing HH good health and happiness, and for the Qatari people continued progress, development and prosperity. 

During the meeting, bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed.
