DOHA: Al Sadd claimed the Qatar’s Futsal Super Cup 2015-2016 title following a hard fought 6-4 victory over Al Rayyan in the final in Doha recently.
With both the teams entering the final in supreme form, Al Sadd held edge over their tough counterparts in the penalty shootouts after the real time ended without yielding a result.
The final was full of thrill as both the times displayed attacking show throughout the battle.
Al Rayyan at times created problems for Al Sadd and came close to scoring various times.
However, Al Sadd’s defender displayed fine performance to avoid any hiccups.
Abdullah Al Sae, the Head of Futsal and Beach football department at the Qatar Football Association (QFA) crowned the winners and runner-ups in a festive sport scene following the final.
