Aspire zone hosts training camp for the Great Britain team

Doha: Members of the Great Britain Athletics team are participating in a training camp at Aspire Zone Foundation in preparation for the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships, taking place in Doha in from October 22-31, 2015.
The camp, which kicked off on October 12, will end on October 22. The team trained at Aspire Zone facilities including the indoor track, warm-up track, throwing area and other training venues. 
Aspire Zone regularly hosts high-quality training camps for top-tier athletes and sports teams. Through providing all required services and facilities in one location, it aims to nurture elite sporting talent, allowing athletes to compete at their maximum potential. 
Commenting on the training camp and the team’s preparation for the IPC Athletics World Championships, the team's Head Coach Paula Dunn, said: "The excellent facilities at Aspire Zone have helped us put the final touches to our preparations for the IPC Athletics World Championships in the best way possible. Everything we needed was provided up to world-class standards in one place, and our experience could not have been any better".
The team is made up of 48 athletes including six-time Paralympic and World Champion David Weir, double Paralympic, World and European Champion Hannah Cockroft as well as 14 debutants, who will be looking to make their mark on the global stage in Doha over the next 10 days.
