NEW YORK: Brandon Moss had two doubles, a triple and three RBIs and Yoenis Cespedes had a career-high five RBIs as the Oakland Athletics completed a three-game series sweep with a huge road win over the Cleveland Indians yesterday.
Right-hander Jesse Chavez (4-1) gave up two runs in five innings to get the commanding victory over their opponents.
Cleveland right-hander Justin Masterson (2-3) gave up seven runs in 4 1/3 innings to take the loss as the Indians dropped their fourth in a row.
The A’s outscored the Indians in the series 30-6.

Albert Pujols hit two home runs to lead the Los Angeles Angels to victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.
Pujols hit two solo drives, one in the bottom of the first inning and one in the bottom of the seventh, against left-hander David Price (4-4).
The homers give Pujols 12 for the season and 504 for his career, tying him with Hall of Famer Eddie Murray.
