Doha: Quran for Kids Season 2, organised by Philnewmuda and supported by Philippine Muslim Federation, Al Salam International and other Islamic Organisations in Qatar, was held recently in Doha.
The Holy Quran Recitation for Kids aims to promote literacy in the Quran and encourage its recitation, memorisation, and apply its spirit in life.
The competition is committed to connecting the young generation to those who recite the Holy Quran.
The programme intends to spread the message of the Quran through the participation of the children ages 12 below; enable the bonds of brotherhood, scientific integration, spiritual communication, and working in favor of the great book of Almighty of Allah; and introduce Muslims to the tradition of reading the Quran.
Quran for Kids Season 2 saw the participation of over 20 children from the Philippine Muslim community based in the country.
