Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announces a temporary partial closure of the roundabout at the Intersection of Omar bin Al Khattab Street with Al Zubara Street, for those heading from the intersection of Omar bin Al Khattab Street with Al Ghuwayriyah Street towards the roundabout, and for those heading from the roundabout towards Khalifa Street.
In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this traffic change will be implemented from 2 am to 6 am, starting Friday April 22, 2022, for 10 days, in order to upgrade the surface and ground water network.
During the closure period, Al Ghuwayriyah Street, Omar Bin Abdulaziz Street and Al Zubarah Street can be used to reach the required destinations, as shown in the attached map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary diversion. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
