DOHA: The Economic and Financial Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting yesterday, chaired by its Rapporteur Ali bin Abdul Latif Al Misnad Al Muhanadi. In its meeting, the committee completed the study of a request for the general discussion on food security, in the presence of members of the food security committee, namely: Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture and Fisheries Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment Sheikh Dr Falih bin Nasser Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer of Hassad Food Company Mohamed bin Badr Al Sada, and Secretary of the committee Masoud Jarallah Al Marri. The committee decided to submit its recommendations regarding the request for the said general discussion to the Shura Council.
