DOHA: The State of Qatar expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that took place near Al Azhar Mosque in the Egyptian capital Cairo, killing two policemen and wounding three officers. In a statement issued yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes. The statement expressed the State of Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims and the Government and people of Egypt, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
