Vodafone names first winners of its world of prizes SMS competition

Vodafone announced the first winners of the second edition of its World of Prizes SMS based competition. 
Vodafone team welcomed the winners at the company’s Al Safwa Centre, for a prize giving ceremony.
Launched in January 2014, Vodafone’s World of Prizes 2 will stretch up until April 12 with daily, weekly and grand prize draws. Daily draws will include electronic goods such as TVs, PlayStation 4, Xbox ONE or Mini iPads. Weekly prizes include cash prizes worth QR20,000 or QR50,000 or a brand new Mercedes-Benz C180 depending on the prize announced each week for the highest points’ scorer during that period.
Vodafone will also hold special select Wednesday prizes comprising luxury smart phones and select Friday draws on QR20,000 cash prize for the highest points’ scorer in the week. The lucky winner of the final World of Prizes’ Grand draw will drive away with a Mercedes-Benz GLK.
To participate, customers need to opt in for the competition and will then need to start answering questions to earn more points for the chance to win a prize. Cost per SMS is QR5.
