DPS-Modern Indian School organised Proficiency Awards Ceremony for Classes VI to XII recently. Dr R Seetharaman, Group Chief Executive Officer, Doha Bank, was the Chief Guest.
President of DPS-MIS Executive Committee Hassan Chougule delivered the welcome address. Seetharaman urged the students to be respectful towards various cultures as well as the people, and recognise their responsibilities towards the welfare of the society.
Principal Asna Nafees congratulated the parents and teachers for working cohesively in the holistic development of the students.
Around 200 students were awarded with trophies, merit certificates, blue blazers, blue ties and gold medals in different categories like academics, sports and all round performance. The rolling trophies were awarded to the winning house teams of senior and junior wing.
The programme was anchored by Dinesh Khattar (X-B) and Aliya Habib Sange (IX-F).
