Doha: As an effort to comply with the COVID-19 safety measures, Hamad Dental Services will allow patients and visitors into the building only if they meet certain conditions.

This came in an announcement on their social media accounts.

It stated that limited routine dental appointments have commenced in the hospital.

To comply with COVID-19 infection control measures, restrictions apply to visitors attending the clinics:
- Adult patients should come alone (unless they are geriatric patients or have a disability and need to be accompanied)
- Children up to the age of 18 should be accompanied by only one parent or guardian
- Other attendees will not be permitted to enter the clinic to reduce potential overcrowding
- Arrive wearing your facemask and show your Ehtheraz app
- If you feel sick before your appointment (if you have symptoms of respiratory illness such as fever, cough, shortness of breath and a sore throat) you must call the COVID-19 hotline #16000 first for advice on how to proceed.

Hamad Dental Centre further requested that in case a patient is unable to make to an appointment, they should call to cancel it in advance to enable someone else to be seen by the dentist.
