Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, received a cable of congratulation from President of the United States of America HE Donald Trump, on the occasion of the National Day, in which His Excellency expressed his sincere congratulations on behalf of the government and the American people, praising the close relations that unites the two countries and their commitment to deepen and strengthen them.
HE the US President said in his message that the State of Qatar continues to prosper and develop under the leadership of HH the Amir, and the United States appreciates the cooperation of Qatar on several major bilateral, regional and economic issues with regard to continuing peace and stability in the region.
HE the US President thanked HH the Amir for the great support for the American forces at Al Udeid Air Base, and for hosting the Afghan peace negotiations, as well as increasing cultural exchange between our two countries, including the American participation in Qatar Year of Culture 2021.
In his message, HE the US President also expressed pride in the partnership with Qatar, saying that he is proud of the long-established and indispensable partnership with Qatar, and looks forward to developing cooperation in the future.
