The new ministers in Amiri Diwan
Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani today issued Amiri Order No. 4 of 2021 reshuffling the Qatar cabinet. In the reshuffle, many ministries were demerged and some new ones were formed.
Qatar will now have a ministry for climate change as H E Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani take charge of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
Environment was earlier part of Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME). After the shuffle MME will become Ministry of Municipality and the MME minister H E Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie will be in charge of the same.

The earlier Ministry of Transport and Communications is demerged into Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology headed by H E Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al Sulaiti and HE Mohammed bin Ali bin Mohammed Al-Mannai respectively.
The old Ministry of Culture and Sports will now be Ministry of Sports and Youth headed by H E Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali and Ministry of Culture headed by H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The erstwhile Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour & Social Affairs will now be Ministry of Labor and will be headed by H E Dr Ali bin Saeed bin Smaikh Al Marri. There will be a new Ministry for Social Development and Family and HE Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad will be in charge of the same.
