DOHA: Qatar Exchange index jumped back to the green Sunday when the bourse added 205.79 points (1.59 percent) when it closed at 13,147.79 points.
The trading value dropped to QR 576.620 million from Thursday's QR 771.863 million.
The trading volume increased to 11,017,062 shares from 5,890 transactions compared to 14,330,083 shares from 7,522 transactions on Thursday.
The market capitalisation increased to QR 710.276 billion from Thursday's QR 699.385 billion.
Indices of all sectors ended in the green today. Real estate was the biggest gainer, up 2.05 percent to 2,609.95 points followed by banks and financial services 1.57 percent to 3,304.69 points. Industries index was up 1.51 percent to 4,331.05 points.
From the 43 listed companies 33 ended higher today, seven went down while two remained unchanged.(QNA)
