DOHA: Qatar Chemical Company Ltd (Q-Chem) recently showcased its achievements and the role it plays in the national development. At this special event, Q-Chem reached out to the high school graduates attending national services at National Services Authority (NSA).
The initiative is part of the Q-Chem’s determination in reaching out to communities and presents diverse opportunities available at its facilities in Mesaieed, Ras Laffan, and Doha. It was also a moment to have direct communication with a vast majority of young Qataris who recently graduated from high schools. The event was an opportunity for Q-Chem to receive firsthand feedback on issues they matter most to the community. Q-Chem has a big role in helping students achieve their aspirations.
Abdulhadi Al Marri, Manager Technical, Abdulaziz Muttawa, Superintendent Maintenance, Saad Al Hababi, Head H R Services, and other department representatives, attended the event, which took place at NSA Academy.
At the beginning of the meeting, Q-Chem showed a film, featuring the company operations and highlighting its contribution in the national economy. This was followed by presentations and a series of speeches from Q-Chem’s representatives from several departments.
Reaching out to NSA recruits is a good opportunity for Q-Chem exposure and entail attention of big number of young Qataris. It is an integral part of Qatarization drive.
“Q-Chem takes its duty of exemplary corporate citizenship very seriously,” said Nasser Jeham Al-Kuwari, Chief Executive Officer of Q-Chem.
“We are actively engaged in the development of Qatari youth, raising awareness by attracting their attention to issues that Q-Chem considers vital for the sustainable future of our country,” he concluded.
