Doha: Bangladesh MHM School & College recently conducted a day’s training programme on ‘Effective Classroom Teaching’ for teachers.
Events of the first session began with a talk on ‘How to deal with different stages of student’s life from infancy to adolescence’ by Md Sharuare Jahan Siddick, Lecturer in English.
He spoke on problems of different stages and teachers’ duties and responsibilities.
The second session was conducted by Paritosh Baidya, Assistant Professor of Physics on ‘Three Domain of Learning and Teaching Method’ for the development of learners.
He also discussed difficulties and facilities index of questions for evaluation purpose.
The session ended with a brief presentation on elementary students given by Nurun Nahar, Deputy Head of Elementary School.
In the third and final last session, Tafsir Uddin, Teacher of Social Science, gave a presentation on ‘Virtue of a Good Teacher’.
The concluding part of the session included the importance of class room management and lesson plan conducted by Siddick.
Vice-Principal Md. Zulfikar Azad gave a speech on the need to have positive professional outlook and determination to be a good teacher.
School Principal Md. Jashim Uddin addressed teachers for their training.
He said teachers’ training could ensure smooth academic development and thanked trainers for their thought-provoking presentations with new thoughts and ideas.
