Amman: The Shura Council participated yesterday in the inauguration of the permanent office of the high-level Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology of the Arab Parliament, and the accompanying meeting in Amman, Jordan.
Shura Council member and member of the High-level Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology H E Dr. Ahmed bin Hamad Al Muhannadi represented the Shura Council in the inauguration and in the meeting.
The meeting discussed the Group’s work strategy during the coming period, which aims to establish the first Arab parliamentary network in the field of science and technology to build bridges of cooperation and coordination and support the use of modern digital technologies within Arab parliaments.
The High-level Parliamentary Group on Science and Technology aims to promote Arab parliamentary complementarity, unify opinions in international parliamentary meetings, and stimulate interest in science and technology in the Arab world as an essential tool for pioneering the future.
