Robert Lepon wins 2021 Qatar Edition of Maxxroyal Cup

Doha: The Qatar Edition of the Maxxroyal Cup tournament took place in Doha recently. 

The tournament qualifier is typically contested with over 2,000 golfers competing in a total of 35 tournaments around the world and Education City Golf Club has been added to the list of events on the annual schedule. 

With 35 events all along Europe, Middle East and Asia, Maxxroyal Cup becomes in its fifth year, one of the most important golf events and the ‘Finals in Belek’ the top Golf Competition of each year in Amateur Golf.

The tournament at Education City Golf Club was played as an Individual Stableford tournament over the 18 Hole Championship Course. 

Robert Lepon (pictured) won the overall tournament by scoring an impressive 44 Stableford points, defeating over 100 players to win a Turkish Airlines Business Class Flight and a special trip to the Maxxroyal Cup Finals  in Belek, Turkey.
