Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has successfully concluded its participation in the 34th edition of the Doha International Book (DIBF) Fair, held from May 8 to 17 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center under the theme “From Engraving to Writing.”

The ministry’s participation featured a distinctive pavilion that drew significant interaction from visitors through its diverse environmental and awareness programs and activities.

The pavilion witnessed a large turnout, particularly from students and individuals interested in environmental affairs, who praised the programs and activities as a reflection of Qatar’s efforts to protect the environment and promote sustainability. Visitors expressed their appreciation for the interactive exhibits and the wide range of publications covering various environmental topics. Director of the Public Relations and Communications Department at the Ministry Farhoud Hadi Al-Hajri, emphasised that the ministry’s participation in the 2025 Doha International Book Fair was part of its commitment to deliver its awareness message to all segments of society.

This was achieved through active presence at key national, cultural, and scientific events and direct engagement with the public. He noted that the ministry’s pavilion offered an integrated educational experience combining modern technology with simplified scientific content.

Al-Hajri reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment, through the Public Relations and Communications Department, to ongoing community engagement via cultural and educational platforms. The ministry is also working on developing environmental awareness tools to encourage community participation, contribute to building a sustainable environmental future, and highlight Qatar’s environmental efforts in alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
