The guests and school staff during the International Nurses Day celebrations.
Doha: Brilliant Indian International School celebrated International Nurses Day recently with a special assembly conducted by students of Grade IV saluting the services of nurses. The Chief Guest for the day was Shierly Johnson, Director of Nurse and Midwifery Education at Women Wellness & Research Center.
The highlights of the event were thought for the day delivered by Hoodh Yousuf and the contemporary graceful dance by Vyga Josh.
Rishi Krishna with great enthusiasm gave an inspiring speech on “Nurse- COVID Warriors”. At the end of the speech, he saluted the nurses with a message, “We see you, We honor you and We salute you”. The assembly was anchored by Aysha Farha. School Nurse Ms. Jomol Joseph was appreciated by all the teachers in their respective classes. Nurses who attended the assembly were felicitated by students with a small token of love on behalf of BIIS.
The Chief Guest in her interactive session with the students enlightened them about the dedication and hard work of nurses around the world. Principal Ms. Asha Shiju applauded the efforts of the students, teachers, Academic Coordinator, and Activity In-charge for their hard work.
In her message, she expressed gratitude for the kindness, empathy, and love rendered by the nurses around the world. It was indeed a memorable and happy day.
