Doha The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombings that targeted a secondary school and an educational center west of the Afghan capital, Kabul, which led to deaths and injuries.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar's total rejection of violence against civilians in all its forms, especially when it targets educational institutions and their employees. It also warned that these horrific and heinous acts would have a severe negative impact on human rights, development and the economy of Afghanistan.
The ministry stressed the State of Qatar's supportive stance for the Afghan people of all stripes to obtain all their rights, foremost of which is the right to education, in addition to its deep commitment to work with its Afghan and international partners to ensure that all groups of Afghan people of all ages enjoy their right to education.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, regardless of motives and reasons. It also expressed its condolences to the families of the victims, the interim government and the brotherly people of Afghanistan wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
