Al Shahania's Head of Football Mohamed Al Shammari (pictured) still believes that his side has a chance of beating relegation, despite drawing to Al Wakrah last time out.
The Al Shahania boss spoke with QSL on his side’s chances in the league.
“We will have to work hard against Al Kharaitiyat in our next game, and our aim is the three points," he said.
"There is no time to compensate with only five rounds to before the end of the season. This season has been very difficult for my side even the draw will be the same as a loss," noted Al Shammari when asked about his sides chances in their next game.
Al Shahania will welcome back both Muhannad Adnan and Alvaro Mejia who both missed the Al Wakrah game due to suspension.
“We have to be in our full concentration in order not to waste any more points because the coming games are going to be tough for us.”
Commenting on the previous tie against Al Wakrah, Al Shammari noted; “One point is a positive result, however we have to  play for the victory especially since we have took the lead twice into the game, indicating that we must learn this valuable lesson and not to repeat it.”
“Yes we do still have a chance to stay in the QSL. Despite the fact that we are in the 12th position, nevertheless we are only two wins away from safety. We will fight in all the coming games hoping to achieve what we looking for” added the head of football when asked about his sides survival chances.
Shammari concluded the interview wishing his side well in their survival chances.
"The final games of the season will be very tough for us but our players will put their best efforts to beat the drop,” the Al Shahania boss said.
