Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted UN peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon, killing an Irish soldier and wounding others.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for an investigation into the attack and for those involved to be brought to justice.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm stance of rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.
The Ministry expressed the State of Qatar’s condolences to the family of the victim as well as to the government and people of Ireland, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
