Doha: The Airport Security and Airport Passports Departments of the Ministry of Interior distributed national day gifts among the passengers at the arrival lounge of the Doha International Airport, crew of different airlines working in the airport, customs staffers and the staff of two departments on Sunday to mark Qatar National Day.
The initiative was taken as a step toward enhancing cooperation and communication between the police and the citizens, expatriates and the visitors to the country as well.
The Director of Airport Security Department Col Eisa Arar Al Rumaihi, Charge de Affaires of Airport Passports Department Lt Col Muhammed Rashid Al Mazroui and a number of officers and petty officers from both departments attended the ceremony.
The initiative of the two security departments got appreciation and appraisal from the passengers and the employees of the airport as they have considered it as an evidence of love and welcome from the Qatari society toward them.
