Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani met today with Vice President of the Dominican Republic H E Raquel Peña de Antuña currently visiting the country. During the meeting, officials touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries in the commercial, industrial, and investment fields, as well as ways to enhance and develop them. Officials also discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two nations. During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry highlighted the economic policies Qatar had put in place to support the private sector, including the incentives, legislation, and investment opportunities made available to companies wishing to invest and establish a presence in Qatar.
