DOHA: The Ministry of Municipality & Environment and Enertech Qatar, safety training provider, yesterday announced the commencement of the safety training initiative for all the employees and contractors working for the ministry.
The event for a detailed discussion on the initiative was held at Doha Municipality headquarters and was graced with the presence of Dr. Mohammed Saif Al Kuwari, Manager of Center for Environment and Municipal Studies; Eng. Jamal Matar Al Naimi, Manager of Doha Municipality; Mubarak Mohammed Al Buainain, Manager of Operation Department and Shareef P Mohammed, Managing Director at Enertech Qatar.
The safety initiative will cover employees from all the departments under Ministry of Municipality & Environment, namely Customer Service, Technical Affairs, Service Affairs, General Service Affairs and Municipal Control.
Enertech Qatar proposed a strategic training approach required for these departments with customized training courses designed for each job function. The ideology of this initiative by Ministry of Municipality & Environment is to ensure safe and secured working environment for the employees and their welfare.
Dr. Mohammed Saif Al Kuwari, Manager of Center for Environment and Municipal Studies said, “We realize the importance and value of Safety, Health and Environment in the current development scenario. Through this initiative with Enertech Qatar we are eagerly looking forward to enhance the safety culture of our workforce, thus being adequately prepared to deal with any emergency situations.”
