New York: Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and a Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Majed Mohammad Hassan Abdullah Al Ansari, met separately on Friday with Assistant Secretary-General for Peacebuilding Support at the United Nations H E Elizabeth Marie Spehar, Spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the United Nations H E Stephane Dujarric, and United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Global Communication H E Melissa Fleming, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meetings, they discussed means of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Nations in the fields of media, peace and conflict resolution through negotiation and dialogue, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.
