Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani last evening held telephone talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Talks focused on repeated Israeli aggression and flagrant violations in the Old City of Jerusalem aiming to implement Israeli plans to divide Al Aqsa Mosque and Israeli attacks and provocations against worshippers.
The Emir and Erdogan agreed on the need to intensify efforts to take a unified stance to support and protect the rights of the Palestinian people and urged the international community to end the brutal Israeli aggression on Al Aqsa.QNA
