DOHA: Katara Hospitality, the leading Qatari hotel owner, developer and operator, was announced the winner of the 2014 Hospitality Enterprise Agility Achiever award at the inaugural Qatar Enterprise Agility Awards: Entrepreneur of the Year.
Organised by Entrepreneur Middle East magazine in association with Barclays, the awards honoured key players across a number of Qatari sectors. Katara Hospitality was recognised for the strides it has taken to pioneer hospitality development in Qatar.
Qatar Chamber Vice Chairman, Muhammed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari, presented the award to Salem Al Kubaisi, Chief Corporate Services Officer of Katara Hospitality.

Katara Hospitality has been investing in and developing peerless hotels in the Qatari market for more than 40 years. One of Katara Hospitality’s current developments includes a hospitality icon in Lusail City, a flagship project that is of immense importance to the Qatari tourism sector.
Once complete, the spectacular Katara Towers, Lusail Marina District will hold 604 rooms with hotel accommodation in one five-star luxury hotel and one five-star ultra-luxury hotel, private offices and branded residential space. An architectural translation of Qatar’s country seal, the iconic project will be recognised throughout the world.
