Doha: Part of West Industrial Street extending from Roundabout 33 to Street 550 in Doha industrial area will be closed for six months.
Traffic will be diverted to the opposite side of the road which will be expanded to accommodate traffic in both directions, as shown in the attached map.
This traffic diversion aims to facilitate the implementation of package 2 of the roads and infrastructure development project in the industrial area, which will enhance traffic flow in the area.
This was announced by the Public Works Authority and the closure is planned in coordination with the Traffic Police and it will start on Thursday evening, July 20, 2016.
Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the diversion. The authority requested all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
