New York: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed that 45% of essential supplies in the Gaza Strip have been depleted and about a quarter of the remaining stock could run out within six weeks.

UNRWA explained that the health sector in Gaza is in a critical condition due to the ongoing Israeli genocide, pointing out that stocks of urgently needed vital medicines and blood products are on the verge of running out.

Since March 2, the Israeli occupation forces have closed Gaza's border crossings to the entry of food, relief, medical aid, and goods, thus deeply worsening the humanitarian situation in the Strip.
