QNA

Doha: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that, in addition to what has been previously announced regarding the opening of a limited number of mosques to perform the prayers except for Friday prayers, Friday prayer as well as Dhuhr prayer will not be held tomorrow in those mosques.

The Ministry added that worshipers will perform Dhuhr prayer at home tomorrow. The rest of the prayers will be allowed on time in those mosques according to the announced precautionary procedures.

The Ministry called on worshipers to cooperate in this regard.

The Ministry had announced earlier the reopening of 500 mosques across Qatar with the start of the implementation of the first stage set by the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management, and that the prayers will be held in the declared mosques adhering to specific precautionary measures, such as bringing a praying mat from home and wearing the mask and showing green status on EHTERAZ app before entering the mosque, provided that the Friday prayer is excluded from this procedures.

The Ministry thanked worshipers for their cooperation with the organizers in the mosques to hold prayers according to the precautionary measures.
