ACTA wraps up training on preventing graft

Doha: The Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) concluded yesterday the third training programme on “Assessment and prevention of corruption risks in universities and academic institutions.”

The programme aimed to enhance the ability of academic institutions to assess and prevent corruption risks and strengthen the institutions’ ability to enhance prevention systems and institutional administrative oversight.

The three-day programme targeted experts from academic institutions in the State of Qatar who are concerned with internal control in university institutions from Qatar University, Community College of Qatar, Qatar Aeronautical Academy, Lusail University, University of Doha for Science and Technology, Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College, Police Academy, and Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies.
