At least six people including a woman killed in Karachi

KARACHI: At least six people including a woman were killed in different firing incidents in Karachi on Thursday.

A woman was killed in a firing incident occurred in Fakera Ghoth, while three bodies were also recovered from different areas the city, reported the Pakistani (Dunya News) today.

Rescue sources said that the bodies were stuffed in gunny bags and it appeared that they were killed after being kidnapped.

The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

Identities of the deceased were yet to be ascertained. On the other hand, rangers also launched targeted operation, arresting at least nineteen suspects.

Earlier Tuesday, four persons were gunned down including a policeman in various areas of the metropolis, Geo News reported.

According to a police official, Qasim Ghauri, policeman who was identified as Javed Iqbal was shot dead in Bilal Colony area of Korangi. (QNA)
