Four Fatafeat chefs to take part in QIFF

DOHA:  Four chefs from the popular Arabic food channel Fatafeat will return to Qatar Airways’ Cooking Theatre to entertain visitors and showcase some of the world’s best Arabic cuisine at the seventh Qatar International Food Festival 2016 (QIFF) from March 22 to 28.
Fatafeat will expand its event Fatafeat’s Kitchen to reach all its Qatar fans as part of QIFF which is co-organised by Qatar Airways and Qatar Tourism Authority,
On March 26 Fatafeat Kitchen’s event will host popular faces of the channel including Darine El Khatib, Daad Abu Jaber (pictured); Salma Suleiman; Wafaa Al Kandari, and Mohamad Orfali who will feature in live cooking demos, Q&A and meet and greet.
More than 14 highly-acclaimed international and national chefs have been announced by Qatar Airways as presenters at this year’s live Cooking Theatre, offering guests a world of wonderful flavours. 
Qatar Airways Senior Vice President Marketing and Corporate Communications, Salam Al Shawa, said: “The Qatar International Food Festival is set to delight visitors with a host of food and entertainment activities to tantalise everyone’s taste buds. Qatar Airways wants to create an inspiring festival for everyone, taking visitors on a global food journey, and these fantastic four Fatafeat chefs will add great value to our elite cast of celebrity chefs, showcasing traditional and fusion Arabic food that we can all recreate in our own kitchens. This year’s fantastic programme of chefs, brought together in Doha from across Qatar Airways’ global network, is the most exciting line-up yet for QIFF and I look forward to witnessing their creative culinary performances alongside festival visitors.”
Celebrity chef Massimo Capra, one of the headline performers at QIFF, will launch a QIFF-inspired menu for Qatar Duty Free’s and SSP Joint venture Italian al fresco-style restaurant, Soprafino, available from March 21 to 28 in Hamad International Airport. 
Chef Capra himself will be available at the restaurant to meet and greet guests on March 21 between 6pm to 10pm. He will also be creating Italian flavours live on the main stage at MIA Park on March 22 at 6pm and across the three stages throughout the event.
Guests at RED American grill, located in the airport’s North Node, will also enjoy an exclusive QIFF menu courtesy of Chef Andrea Dipino.  Qatar Duty Free will be providing pre-flight hospitality to all guests joining Qatar Airways’ A Taste of Business, Dinner in the Sky experience at QIFF and the opportunity to register Qatar Duty Free’s luxury car draw to win an Audi R8. The Peninsula
