Doha: Qatar Insurance Company announced Thursday the completion of the merger process of its subsidiary Oman Qatar Insurance Co. SAOG with Vision Insurance SAOG (“VISN”).
In a statement on Qatar Stock Market website, Qatar Insurance Company said the merger consideration (cash option and share swap option) was settled with Vision Insurance Company SAOGs existing shareholders by Oman Qatar Insurance Company SAOG.
Accordingly, after the successful settlement of above stated merger consideration by Oman Qatar Insurance Company and the issuance of merger certificate by Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Vision Insurance Company SAOG is delisted from Muscat Stock Exchange.
