The programme included several visits to units of the Qatar Armed Forces.
Doha: The Directorate of Moral Guidance of the Qatar Armed Forces hosted at its headquarters the delegations of the directorates of moral guidance and public relations of the armed forces of GCC countries, the military media delegation of the GCC General Secretariat, and the delegation of the moral guidance section in the Unified Military Command.
This visit is part of a series of mutual visits to the ‘GCC Military Media Coexistence’ Programme aiming at consolidating partnership and military media cooperation, developing military communication methods, and activating joint programmes between the GCC countries through exchanging visits, participating in workshops and events, and exchanging articles of GCC military writers.
The programme included several visits to units of the Qatar Armed Forces such as a visit to the Joint Warfare Training Centre where a field tour was taken to get acquainted with its departments, facilities and role in supporting the armed forces, and another to the National Service Academy and its departments to learn about services provided to its members.
During the visit, a lecture was delivered on how to deal with the media, in addition to a visit to some media channels and institutions such as Qatar TV, Al Jazeera and Qatar News Agency. The programme was attended by a number of officers of the Qatar Armed Forces.
