Doha: Ooredoo and Osool Media have announced a new partnership to enable Ooredoo customers to buy popular electronic gift vouchers via Ooredoo’s nationwide self service machine (SSM) network.
The agreement will give Ooredoo customers online access to Internet games, play stores and mobile vouchers via SSMs. A new ‘Noqoody’ option on SSM screens will soon be available for customers to purchase vouchers such as iTunes, Xbox, Skype, Facebook, Steam, Visa Prepaid Cards, PlayStation, eBay, Amazon and Google, and entertainment voucher cards for iOS, Android and BlackBerry devices. The partnership was signed by Ahmad Abdulaziz Al Neama, Chief Sales and Services Officer, Ooredoo, and Nayef Eissa Rashwan, Managing Director, Osool Media, at Ooredoo’s HQ1.
Al Neama said: “Ooredoo SSMs have become a one-stop-shop for customers and we are committed to adding more innovative and value-added services to meet their expectations and needs.
“With over 200 SSMs across Qatar, our vision is to create a service where customers can make any transaction they need in their daily lives at one easy to use location.”
With the growing SSMs across the country, purchasing Skype credit, Facebook vouchers and more will be easier. Customers have to select a service and amount wanted, input the voucher recipient’s phone number, and pay by cash or credit/debit card 24/7 to purchase a voucher.
They will receive a confirmation receipt showing the product selected, denomination and the service number. The voucher code will be sent to them through SMS to redeem.
This is the latest upgrade on SSMs as Ooredoo continue to offer more options for customers to keep up-to-date with their daily services.
In addition to buying online vouchers via SSMs, customers can also pay Ooredoo Shahry and Kahramaa bills, purchase Hala prepaid SIM cards, top up Hala accounts and purchase vouchers for shopping and dining experiences for popular brands in Qatar. The Peninsula
