Qatar Olympic team players celebrate a goal against Hong Kong during their friendly game in Doha on Tuesday night.
Doha: Qatar's Olympic team defeated the Hong Kong national team 3-0 in an international friendly match held on Tuesday night at Al Arabi Club's Grand Hamad Stadium.
The match was arranged as part of preparations for the U23 Asia Cup qualifiers, which start in July.
Head coach Felix Sanchez was able to assess the players and gave the opportunity for some players to be engaged in the game.
The Olympic team finished the first half ahead of the Hong Kong team by two goals scored by Meshal Al Shemmari and Abdul Raoof Hussein.
Ahmad Al Jalabi scored one more goal in the second half to end the game for a 3-0 win for Qatar.
